Teaching and Learning Communities LLC (TLC) is an organisation that seeks to reflect the multi-cultural society of the Sultanate of Oman and to foster and support respect for and understanding of differing perceptions, perspectives and beliefs. 

As such TLC will be established as an international school partnership that will draw on best education and training practice internationally in terms of curricula, syllabi, materials, resources and pedagogy.

TLC’s target audience will be similarly diverse so that learners benefit from contact with not only tutors but also fellow learners from differing backgrounds and experiences. 

Since the Sultanate of Oman is TLC’s host country, we plan to ensure significant participation from Omani nationals.

TLC is committed to the delivery of high quality, cost effective and profitable teaching and learning interventions that will provide differing levels of awareness, knowledge, understanding, key skills and core competencies.  Moreover, we believe exposure to outstanding lifelong learning interventions results in empowered, productive, considerate and compassionate individuals and citizenship.  These outcomes can be best achieved by an integrated approach to teaching that instils a love of and commitment to learning in children, parents and communities.

“The strategic objectives of the company in the short–term are to build on a firm foundation nursery, kindergarten and primary provision, initially in Muscat and to subsequently expand to other regions of Oman.  Medium-term objectives are to continue to develop the primary programme basing it upon the UK National Curriculum guidelines and benchmarks.  Long-term objectives are to extend to the delivery of secondary education.  Programmes for personal and professional development will be introduced concurrently alongside short, medium and long term objectives.”
